Configuration backup and restore

The current configuration of the HyperSec HyperCollector can be backed up or restored using the HyperCloud Configuration Backup export or restore options.

The configuration is in YAML format.

The backup/restore options do not include account details or credentials.

Backup

To backup the current HyperSec HyperCollector configuration, select Export from the HyperCloud Configuration Backup page. This will export the current configuration to a file named config.yml.

This file can be used to restore the collector to the current settings.

Restore

To restore a collector, drag a valid YAML configuration file onto the restore upload area and select the Restore button.

The restore option can take a few minutes to complete, please refresh your browser to view the restored configuration if a timeout occurs.
