Management Interface

Configure Management Interface settings

To configure the Management Interface, select the network device to be used for Management, enter an IP Address, and Netmask, and if this is the Default Gateway enter an optional gateway address.

A Default Gateway can only be set on either the Management of Event Interface, advanced routing options are available through the Web Interface.

Management Interface Device Settings

Select the Network Device to use for the Management Interface.

Management Interface IP Address Settings

Enter a valid IP Address for the Management Interface

Management Interface Netmask Settings

Enter a netmask for the Management Interface.

Management Interface Gateway Settings (Optional)

If the Management Interface is the default routing interface enter a valid Default Gateway Address.

Management Interface Update Settings

When the values have been set, select Back on the menu screen. This will prompt to Update the settings and reconfigure the network settings for the HyperSec Collector. Select Cancel to abort the changes.

Note: If you are connected to the HyperSec Collector through SSH your session will be terminated if you have changed the IP Address of the Collector. You will need to reconnect to continue configuring the Collector.
