The network settings page enables the configuration of the network interfaces present on the HyperSec HyperCollector and network settings including DNS, NTP and routing.
Note: The management interface must be set for the HyperSec HyperCollector to operate.
To configure the management interface, select the network device to use, the family and IP address and a valid netmask.
If this interface is the default gateway enter a gateway IP address.
The event interface can be a separate interface or share the management interface.
If the HyperSec HyperCollector has a single network case, select the Use Management Interface Settings tick box.
Click Apply to save the settings if not configuring the event interface separately.
If the event interface is a separate interface, configure the eventinterface by selecting the network device to use, the family and IP address and a valid netmask.
If this interface is the default gateway enter a gateway IP address.
Note: Only one interface can be the default gateway.
Click Apply to save the settings.
Enter the IP address for DNS servers into the Domain Name Servers box and add an optional port, the default port is 53. Click the + button to add the new DNS server.
Multiple DNS servers can be added. To Delete a DNS server, select the bin icon next to the entry to delete and select OK.
Enter the IP address for an NTP servers into the Network Time Servers box and add an optional port, the default port is 123. Click the + button to add the new NTP server.
Multiple NTP servers can be added. To Delete an NTP server, select the bin icon next to the entry to delete and select OK.
To define a static route, select the interface the route will utilize, enter the address including a netmask in CIDR notation, e.g. 10.16.0.0/16 and the address to route via. The via address must be reachable by the collector.
Click the + button to add the new route. Multiple routes can be added. To Delete a route, select the bin icon next to the entry to delete and select OK.
