System Settings

HyperSec HyperCollector Settings -> System Settings

Use the system settings page to set the Hostname, Org ID, Site ID and Time zone for the HyperSec HyperCollector.

Hostname

Enter the HyperCollector's Hostname in the Hostname text box.

To update the collector with the new setting, click the save icon.

This setting modifies the system hostname as well ad being embedded in the tags.collector.hostname field within each event for identification and routing usage for the XDR service.

Org ID

Enter the HyperCollector's Organizational Identification in the Org ID text box.

To update the collector with the new setting, click the save icon.

This setting is embedded in the tags.event.org_id field within each event for identification and routing usage for the XDR service.

Site ID

Enter the Collector's Site Identification in the Site ID text box.

To update the collector with the new setting, click the save icon.

This setting is embedded in the tags.event.site_id field within each event for identification and routing usage for the XDR service.

Timezone

Select a timezone which will be applied to all incoming events without an explicit timezone.

To update the collector with the new setting, click the save icon.

This setting is embedded in the tags.collector.timezone field within each event.
