VPN Client Settings

HyperSec HyperCollector Settings -> VPN Client Settings

The HyperSec HyperCollector can be configured to deliver events to a SIEM or HyperSec XDR through a VPN connection.

A single VPN connection can be configured and set to automatically start on boot or be manually started and stopped.

Adding a VPN Connection

To add a VPN connection, drag an ovpn file onto the upload area.

VPN Startup type

Configure the VPN connection to either be automatically start on boot or be manually started and stopped.

Click Upload VPN Settings to apply the settings. If the Startup Type is set to Automatic the VPN will start once the Collector has been reconfigured.

Manually Starting a VPN Connection

To start a manual connection, select the Start button.

To stop a manual connection, select the Stop button.

To restart a manual connection, select the Restart button.

Deleteing a VPN Connection

To remove a VPN connection, select the Delete VPN Settings button. This will remove the OVPN file from the HyperSec Collector.
